Live Out Loud – My 2022 Challenge

I don’t believe that life changes with the tick of the clock or the turn of the calendar, yet so many of us expect to wake up on January 1st with the previous year (which was just yesterday) completely gone, only to find a whole new life just sitting there waiting on us.

Unfortunately, that just isn’t how life works.

I believe that if you want a different outcome, something must change; thus, my Live Out Loud 2022 Challenge.

For someone who talks a lot, isn’t afraid to openly share my opinions, and is VERY LOUD, it would seem very curious that Live Out Loud would be my 2022 challenge.

If you had known me 20+ years ago, you would NOT have described me as “loud.”

I know that comes as a shock to those of you who live life with me on this side of those 20+ years, but it is true. I was quite, shy, and introverted.

Generally when I say that I’m really an introvert, it usually gets met with eye rolling and belly laughs. But what they don’t realize is that in my desire to come out from underneath my natural instinct of being an introvert, I have to intentionally make the effort to be different than my natural instinct.

So when I say I want to Live Out Loud in 2022, what I mean is I want to be different, to grow, to become who God has created me to be.

I’m talking about Living Out Loud intentionally…not in volume, but in how I live my life.

And I want to live my life out loud for Jesus…

Intentionally

Making Every Effort

With purpose

For His Glory

This doesn’t require striving to do more things for Jesus but in who I become.

Living out loud is accomplished through a deliberate and passionate pursuit of Jesus Christ!

To know HIM! Intentionally. Making Every Effort. With Purpose. For His Glory.

And in the deliberate and passionate pursuit of HIM, I begin to be different, to grow, to become who He created me to be.

This is my Live Out Loud 2022 Challenge. Will you also take the challenge?

Ephesians 3:13b-14

But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,  I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Soli Deo Gloria
