About Us

“Become a Proverbs 31 Woman,” they said….“It’ll be fun,” they said.

Well, they didn’t say anything about it being fun, but that seems to be the advice given to every young lady navigating the rushing rapids of becoming a woman.

By the time most of us reach that place between innocence and hot-flashes, the woman in the mirror looking back doesn’t much resemble that lady in the Bible.

So, how are we supposed to grow into that woman when our everyday lives resemble an American Ninja Warrior obstacle course of crippling chaos, devastating disappointments, embarrassing emotions, and a whole slew of cringe-worthy situations of epic proportions!?!

Sprinkle in some fear, doubt, anger, shame, and a couple of extra pounds on the scale, and it’s no mystery as to why we don’t feel like Proverbs 31 women.

Let’s be honest…sometimes life is one battering storm after another, and growing into the mercy, love, and grace of Jesus is seemingly impossible at times.

But God…

“ But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 2:4-7)

It is God’s grace that saved us and it is God’s grace that sustains us. He freely pours His grace over us like a waterfall and it’s His grace that navigates the obstacle courses of our lives washing away everything that doesn’t resemble Jesus…over and over and over again.

Here at the Waterfall of Grace, my prayer is that you are inspired and uplifted through the bits and pieces of my transparency …ranging from daily struggles to life-threatening illnesses…and pointing to the LORD who covers us when we run to His waterfall of grace.
